We are a YEAR ROUND basketball program organized in 2011 with a mission to encourage children to make good decisions utilizing the team sport of basketball as a channel to teach life changing skills.
The Arizona NEV Basketball organization plan, promote, and implement comprehensive basketball activities that aid in development of players. We advocate for academic success and an aggressive style of basketball that emphasizes hard work and personal responsibility.
Academic success is priority for the student athletes that play in the NEV Program. We stride for our players to be students, players, and role models for their community. The team first concept is an absolute necessity for our athletes. We teach a style of play that requires tremendous intensity on defense and a total unselfishness on offense. We demand that the athlete be in great mental and physical condition. Our program isn't for everyone. We are scared to say that our players work harder than most basketball clubs. We aren't the local YMCA or Boys & Girls Club team.
It's our desire that every player that participates in the Arizona NEV Basketball program attend college, make wise life decisions, and become productive citizens. We want only the best for our players in every phase of their lives on and off the court. We work to promote our student athletes by reaching out to both Recruiting Services and College Coaches, as well as sending our Coaches & Players to Top Notch Basketball Camps and Clinics.
We have teams in every age group starting at 5th Grade/11u and going thru High School.
We are the fastest growing AAU Club Basketball program in Arizona and our coaches have over 40 years of experiance both playing and coaching at the highest levels of basketball.
We participate in the Best Local and National Tournaments during the year and do our best to showcase our players to the proper coaches, scouts, and recruiting services around the counrty.
Last season we took 4 teams to the AAU Grand Finale National in Las Vegas. All of our teams made the Final 4.
One went on to win the National Title at the 13u age group, while 2 others placed 3rd in their age. We also participated in events in California, New Mexico, and Texas.
Our goal is to become Arizona's Best Basketball program. We are one of the few programs that can offer a year round gym/facilities to every player. As well as individual coaching. Our staff is prepared to teach and train year round to prepare our athletes for whatever situation may happen.
